Delivery Policy for The Aircon Shop

Acceptance of Goods

The Aircon Shop is not a public or common carrier, and all goods transported are subject to the conditions outlined below. These conditions replace any previously published terms and conditions and complement the general terms found on The Aircon Shop’s waybills and other documents. In cases of conflict between these conditions and those on any waybill or transit document, these conditions apply, except where they conflict with South African law.

The Aircon Shop reserves the right to modify these conditions unilaterally without notice. Any changes to these conditions require written agreement from both The Aircon Shop and the Customer. All services provided by The Aircon Shop are governed by these conditions, which are considered an integral part of any agreement between The Aircon Shop and the Sender. The Sender explicitly agrees not to rely on any other terms, warranties, conditions, or representations regarding The Aircon Shop’s services. The signature of any of the Sender’s employees, servants, or agents on The Aircon Shop’s Waybill binds the Sender.

Goods transported by The Aircon Shop are also subject to the conditions stipulated by other carriers, subcontractors, handlers, and parties who come into possession of the goods during the delivery process.

Collection of Goods

If the Recipient or nominee fails to accept or collect goods within a reasonable time, The Aircon Shop will consider notifying the Customer. After ten (10) days from such notice, unless the Customer instructs redelivery at their expense, The Aircon Shop may sell or dispose of the goods, retaining charges and expenses.

Company Liability

The Aircon Shop is not liable for loss or damage to goods. Claims must be lodged in writing within 48 hours of delivery. In cases where limited liability is accepted, The Aircon Shop’s liability is limited to R1,000 (ONE THOUSAND RAND) per consignment unless the client has opted to include insurance on thier delivery if available. The Aircon Shop is not liable for indirect or consequential loss or damage to any consignment or any loss or damages arising from late or non-delivery of goods.
